Years back Rita Devi got married with a Delhi based boy in her home town Samasthipur district, Bihar. He took her to Delhi & later on they got a son who is now 6. Now -a -days Rita Devi resides in Shakurpur area of New Delhi. She is a maid & work in different house holds.

          Three years back her husband got married to another girl leaving her & her son alone. She could not go back to her home town as she knew that her family would not accept her at all. So she decided to earn bread & butter for herself and for her son. With the help of her friends she got placed in some house holds as maid servant. She was maintaining the survival with that earning with great difficulties wasn’t enough. And at the same time as her son was growing daily, time for school-admission was coming closer.

So she finally got the solution with Sulaxmi. She took a loan of Rs.5000 ($120) & got her son admitted in a government school. Rita is now happy that the has taken a great step for her child’s growth. And her one very important statement makes each member of Sulaxmi feel proud is that “now my son would not do the same what my husband did to me”. After full repayment of her first loan she has taken a second loan of Rs.7000 ($150) with which she has taken a separate room on rent, As she use to reside in a shared rental room where her son’s studies were disturbed a lot.
